CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

Over the years, I have accumulated a pretty vast selection of Christmas titles, which I break out each December during the season that celebrates the birth of Bethlehem's favorite (and God's only begotten) Son.

This year, I thought I'd share some of them with you.

The fact that Richard Marx released a Christmas album may surprise you-it did me.

I've been a fan since developing a crush on the girl in his "Should Have Known Better" video back in 1987, and was pleasantly surprised by this holiday effort.

Marx even covers some standards than mention the Son-my public service announcement for you atheists.

For me, buying this one was a no-brainer. Take a listen and see what you think.

OH HOLY NIGHT

WHAT CHILD IS THIS

  1. Great choices! I like his version of both of these songs. "O Holy Night" is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and his version has, I dunno, a certain sweet simplicity about it, as opposed to a more belting-out approach. I like it.

    1. Thanks for dropping by Susan-there'll be a different title each day for the rest of the month.
